The Experience combines educational sessions, dynamic speakers, group work, hands on projects and of course fabulous evening gala events planned by David Tutera. Experience, connection, community and kindness is what you will experience directly with David Tutera. This is a unique experience with a limited number of attendees, that is unlike any other in the industry.
For your reference, a basic agenda follows. Attendees will receive an updated agenda at registration. An info email with style guide will be send to all attendees by beginning of January. If you joined us in Bermuda and Orlando, you understand the value and importance of staying at the host hotel, location of the educational experiences and gathering for chosen evening events. We have secured a group room block and rate for attendees to fully enjoy this amazing experience and allowing for connection to other attendees before and during the Experience! Staying at the host hotel allows you to fully immerse into the experience and also to be in proximity to events and your accommodations. The host hotel has also been chosen to maximize your complete experience of a luxury destination event.

The historic guestrooms and suites are romantic, luxurious and classically adorned. Sumptuous fabrics, Egyptian cotton bed linens, pillow top mattresses and ornately carved headboards create a truly elegant environment.
Hotel Viking guest rooms feature beautiful period-inspired furniture and the décor of Newport’s Gilded Age. Accommodations include pillow-top mattresses, Egyptian cotton bed linens, LCD televisions and beveled glass doors leading into bathrooms with ‘pillow’ carved marble showers. The Newport experience with all the modern luxuries!
Rates and Policy
Guests will be offered a combination category of rooms from the room block. These rooms comprise of a “Run of House” rooms that include manor room, Newport room, Estate room, Fireside room. Room assignments to be advised at check in, specific room category cannot be requested.
Group rate is $309.00 per night to accommodate up to 4 guests in room. Bedding on request is 1 King bed, 1 queen bed or 2 queen beds
13% state tax plus $1.00 per night city marketing fee is additional to the room rate. Reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card at time of booking. Credit card with be authorized for $1 to ensure validity. No deposit required. Full payment required upon arrival with valid credit (not debit) card. Reservations with invalid credit cards will be cancelled.
Guest rooms must be booked prior to Thursday, August 12 to ensure group rate. Room block is limited number of rooms, please book early to avoid disappointment. Rooms are blocked for the nights of Tuesday, September 14, Wednesday, September 15 and Thursday, September 16
Cancellations must be received,, in writing via email to Linda no later than 5 days prior to arrival by 4pm EST. Full stay charged for cancellations after this time. Early departures and no shows will be charged in full. The total stay charged is room rate and tax.
