David is also excited to announce the addition of Luxury Destination Travel to assist attendees with travel related elements, concierge services and destination information. Linda Mitchell, a veteran in both the travel industry and destination wedding industry, specializes in the Destination Wedding travel details as well as individual and group travel.

During the excitement of planning her daughter’s wedding in Bermuda 17+ years ago, she entered into the destination weddings industry at it’s “infancy” stage! Working with destinations, venues and hotels, Linda helped grow this industry, while gaining immense expertise and assisting many amazing wedding couples to and through the destinations wedding experience! Linda’s expertise and luxury services provides wedding couples with assistance in one of the most crucial elements of the destination wedding, Travel!

Gracing over 200 acres of the most beautiful waterfront property, Rosewood Bermuda neighbors the estates of Tucker’s Town offering breathtaking vistas of Castle Harbour, Harrington Sound and the Atlantic Ocean. The guest rooms at Rosewood Bermuda are exquisitely appointed and sparkling with the Atlantic Ocean as the perfect backdrop. They are all oversized beginning at 520 square feet not including the enormous bathrooms, over 300 square feet, and outdoor expansive space with every room. Group rates are offered for the gorgeous newly re-imagined Ocean View rooms. Group $335.00 per night is for single/double occupancy.
Add $95.00 plus tax, gratuity and levy per day for additional person(s) in room.
11.75% government tax/tourism fee, $15.80 per person per day gratuity plus $15.00 per person per day resort fee is additional to the nightly room rate. Resort fee includes Non motorized water sports, tennis club, resort shuttle, 24 hour fitness center and high speed WI-FI

 12,000 square foot full-service spa has fabulous spa treatments to offer, truly customizing any spa experiences you desire! The spa has 8 fully equipped treatment rooms, 1 couples treatment room, 2 post treatment rooms, Signature TAG shower, 2 TAG baths, reflection pool and yoga Thai Chi wellness lawn. Consider experiencing their Honey Bee number five scrub, an ultimate luxurious spa experience in their Signature Tag shower followed by a soothing Aloe Vera full body massage. FITNESS CENTRE

The 2,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art fitness facility is accessible 24 hours a day. Certified Personal Trainers are at your service between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. In addition to cardio and strength equipment, the facility provides group exercise classes such as Tai Chi, Yoga, Pilates, Aqua Aerobics and Spinning. After your workout, rejuvenate in the relaxing saunas.

GROUND TRANSPORT

Rosewood Bermuda is less than 10 minutes from L.F. Wade Airport Bermuda! Taxi professionals are the ambassadors to the island. This queue at airport arrivals for arriving convenience. Private transport ensure your dedicated driver await you. Details on hotel transport to follow.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Passports!!  Now would be a great time to check your passport for validity date. Please be aware that US citizens, including infants and children, must have a valid passport for travel to Bermuda. Please ensure you have at least 6 months past the date of intended travel to Bermuda. Most destinations are now adhering to the 6 month validity rule! Married women traveling with passport in their maiden name and ticket in their married name must carry also a legal stamped marriage certificate. Non US citizens require valid passport from their country. Please inquire with local consulates for any Visa requirements.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

• There are no jet ways on Bermuda. Guests exit the plane via metal stairs onto the tarmac and into the arrivals immigrations hall. Please check with your airline if there are mobility issues to make special arrangements.
• Cell phone usage is strictly forbidden in the arrivals hall area!
• Arrival forms will be given out either at your departure area gate or on the plane. Have the forms filled out completely to ensure a speedy process through immigrations!
• Bermuda dollar is on par with USD – USD is widely accepted on Bermuda. Be sure to exchange/use all your Bermuda currency prior to heading to the airport! There is no exchange outlet at the airport or in the US!
• Electrical outlets are same as the US so no additional adaptors needed!
• Debit cards and Credit card companies may charge fees. Check with your card company or bank prior to travel!
• All major mobile phone companies operate on Bermuda. Check with your mobile service provider for international charges that may apply.
• Gratuity charges are added on to all food and beverage bills automatically regardless of the size of the party! Be sure to be aware of this to avoid adding/double gratuity charges!
• On departure – During the check in process you will bring your own checked luggage to the conveyer belt. Be prepared to possibly have to open your checked luggage for random security searches.
• US customs is located at the Bermuda airport. You will clear US customs during your departure process. Be sure to allow extra time for this and have your US customs form(provided on entry) filled out.
• There is a Global Entry pre-clearance kiosk at US Immigrations area
• There is not TSA pre Check clearance at Bermuda airport
• There are food outlets at the Bermuda airport as well as a few shops, including duty free for any last minute gifts!
• There may be an additional checked baggage search as you pass through the gate area to board.
• You will need to go down a flight of stairs, out onto the tarmac and then board the plane via the metals stairways. Assistance is available for mobility impaired and families with children.
